GTS Consultants is a growing SBE/DBE/MBE civil engineering and land surveying firm that has been providing services to major prime consultants in the transportation field.

From its inception in 1998, GTS has participated in various NJ Transit projects that include the NYS&W Passenger Restoration Service, the Morrisville PA Yard, and the Lakeland Bus Terminal in Dover Twp. Morris County. GTS continues to support the expansion of the Hudson Bergen Light Rail system in a sub-consultant role for right of way acquisition mapping.

GTS has also been actively involved in many projects for local government agencies and the private sector. We have performed design engineering services for the Monmouth County Engineering Department, and are currently working on a significant mapping project for the Lakewood Municipal Utilities Authority that will become the basis for the creation of a GIS database for sewer and water infrastructure. In the private sector we have prepared numerous site plans and minor subdivisions, septic system designs, pool and residential plot plans as well as providing construction stakeout services for Applebee’s Restaurants, Dunkin’ Donuts, Eckerd Drugs and large housing developments.

Recent projects include the design of over 11,000 feet of new sewer and water mains in Lakewood Township, survey control for the mapping of Route I-78 and the Garden State Parkway improvements, and site development documents for a 468 unit senior citizens complex in Newark, New Jersey. Other projects include numerous boundary and topographic surveys for new and existing wireless telecommunications facilities, wetland location and monitoring well location in support of environmental permitting, and stream / river cross-sections for bridge scour analysis projects.
